14th August, 2010. 7:29 am. Weekend gunny fun

A few weekends ago I joined a bunch of fine people at an undisclosed location for recoil therapy. A fine time was had by all. There's even a video from the event!

Today I join a different group of fine people at the Connecticut Citizens Defense League annual family picnic. No shooting involved, but still plenty of gunny goodness.

Carry On!

6th September, 2009. 12:45 pm. CCDL Picnic

Yesterday was a picnic for members of the newly formed Connecticut Citizens Defense League .
"The Connecticut Citizens Defense League is a non-partisan, grassroots organization devoted to advocating rights affirmed by the Constitutions of the United States of America and the State of Connecticut. We are especially dedicated to protecting the unalienable right of all citizens to keep and bear arms, for the defense of both self and state, through public enlightenment and legislative action."

Unfortunately it seems I have a corneal abrasion and was/am in a lot of discomfort; especially out in the bright sun so we came an hour late and left an hour early. Still a good time was had and most importantly groundwork was being laid to defend our Second Amendment rights here in Connecticut.

Lots more pics over at the CCDL Photo Gallery.
